This Privacy Policy explains how AgentPress ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use the website at www.agentai.press and the tools and APIs we provide. AgentPress is a web platform that exposes 277 ready-made web scraping tools as instant APIs.

Who we are and how to contact us

AgentPress is operated from Pakistan (the same operator as datavyn.com). For any privacy question or to exercise your rights, email us at j@agentai.press. Information we collect

We aim to collect only what we need to run the service:

• Email address — used for passwordless sign-in and to deliver login codes and license keys.
• Session token — issued after you verify a login code, so we can keep you signed in.
• Job inputs — the parameters you submit to a tool (for example, a search term or URL).
• Job metadata — which tool you ran, when you ran it, and row counts, used for quotas and troubleshooting.
• Minimal server logs — including IP address and timestamps, kept for security and rate-limiting.

Scraped results are transient. The data a tool returns is held in per-job storage and pruned automatically after about 7 days. AgentPress tools collect publicly available data only; you are responsible for using that data lawfully and in line with target websites' terms and applicable law.

We do not store passwords (sign-in is passwordless) and we do not store card numbers (payments are handled by Polar, described below).

How we use your information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the AgentPress tools and APIs.
• Authenticate you by emailing a 6-digit login code and issuing a session token.
• Email license keys after purchase so you can activate a paid plan (keys are issued manually by our team).
• Enforce free-trial limits, rate limits, daily quotas, and concurrency caps, and keep the service fair and stable.
• Protect against abuse, fraud, and security threats.
• Process payments through Polar and respond to your requests and support messages.

Legal bases (EU/UK users)

If you are in the EEA or UK, we rely on the following legal bases under the GDPR/UK GDPR:

• Contract — to create your account, run your jobs, and deliver license keys.
• Legitimate interests — to secure the service, prevent abuse, enforce quotas, and keep basic logs.
• Consent — where we ask for it; you may withdraw consent at any time.

Sharing and sub-processors

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers that help us run AgentPress, under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection terms:

• Polar (polar.sh) — our third-party merchant of record and payment processor. Polar handles checkout and card details; AgentPress never stores card numbers. Polar's own checkout pages may set their own cookies.
• Hosting provider — a VPS provider that supplies the compute and storage that run the service.
• SMTP email provider — delivers your login codes and license keys.

We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights, users, and the service.

Data retention

We keep account data (such as your email and license status) for as long as your account is active. Scraped job results are pruned automatically after about 7 days. Server logs are retained for a limited period for security and rate-limiting. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including passwordless authentication, session tokens, encrypted connections, access controls, and automatic pruning of job results. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International transfers

AgentPress is operated from Pakistan, and our sub-processors may process data in other countries. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected consistent with this policy and applicable law.

Your rights

Depending on your location (including under the GDPR and CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email j@agentai.press. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity first. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Cookies and local storage

AgentPress uses browser localStorage (such as an ap_auth key) to hold your sign-in session and small preferences. These are strictly necessary for the service to function. We do not run third-party advertising or tracking cookies. For details, see our Cookie Policy.

Children

AgentPress is not directed to children. You must be at least 16 (or 18 where required by local law) to use the service. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; if you believe a child has provided us data, contact j@agentai.press and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown above. Material changes may be communicated by email or through the service.
